Why we started MyPowerCo
Every month we watched neighbors open electric bills that went up again. Most of them had heard of solar, and most of them had also been on the receiving end of a pushy door-to-door pitch, a confusing lease, or a promise that didn't match the paperwork.
We started MyPowerCo to be the company we wished those families had called first: local, independent, and willing to explain the math in plain English, including when solar isn't the right fit.
How we work
MyPowerCo is a solar advisor and broker. We partner with multiple licensed, insured installers, so we're not tied to one brand or one price. We compare proposals for your home, show you panels-only and panels-plus-battery options side by side, and put every number in writing. Once you choose, we manage the project with your installer and stay your point of contact long after the panels are on.
We're also building our own installation team, so even more of your project will be handled directly by MyPowerCo.
